I'm Linda Valentin, proudly holding a Bachelor of Business Administration with a Marketing concentration from Lehman College, nestled in the vibrant Bronx, New York. My academic voyage has been enriched by notable milestones, including an Associate in Arts in Liberal Arts and Science from Hostos Community College/CUNY, along with the successful completion of a pre-apprenticeship training program in construction through Non-Traditional Employment for Women in New York.

 

My professional path mirrors this diversity and dynamism. Armed with a versatile skill set encompassing web design, social media marketing, sales, and customer service, I've cultivated expertise across various arenas. As a web designer at Glow-iink 22 Inc. since December 2020, I've not only facilitated sales of third-party products but also curated engaging blogs on diverse social media platforms. Harnessing tools like MS Excel, I've efficiently managed inventory while crafting compelling marketing collateral using Canva.

 

Prior to this, I embarked on an entrepreneurial journey by founding and overseeing El Polvorin Bakery. During this tenure, I spearheaded a remarkable 6% increase in sales within the inaugural year, orchestrated weekly departmental meetings for a dedicated team of 13, and amplified the brand's presence through strategic initiatives including Yelp engagement and targeted flyer campaigns. Additionally, my hands-on experience as a laborer/mason tender with the Laborers International Union of North America and my contributions as a dental assistant at Webster Dental have further fortified my professional repertoire.

 

Beyond my professional pursuits, I hold a deep-rooted commitment to community service. Volunteering to distribute food to homeless residents in the Bronx has been an integral aspect of my journey, offering me a profound opportunity to give back and foster positive change in the lives of others.
